Alan R. Dakay
President & Chief Operating Officer
Alan lead’s Miga’s day-to-day operations and plays a key role in the development of Miga’s business strategy and investor relations. Alan brings over 25 years of successful senior-level operating experience to Miga as well as his broad range of knowledge of the healthcare, financial services and consumer packaged goods businesses.
Prior to Miga, Alan was President and CEO of Citi Home Equity, Citigroup’s second mortgage business which he grew to become the 4th largest home equity lender in the country. He was also President of American Enterprise Life, an insurance/annuity company subsidiary of American Express Financial Advisors (now Ameriprise) in Minneapolis. Alan also held leadership positions in consumer packaged goods for General Mills and Procter & Gamble as well as in healthcare for Park Nicollet Clinics and carol.com – a health-care services start-up.
His other entrepreneurial endeavors included the founding and start-up of Plain Jayne Software, Inc. (customer satisfaction survey software) and New England Consultants.
Alan has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. Chemical Engineering degree, magna cum laude, from La Salle University, Philippines. He is married with 2 children, is an avid golfer and travels the world looking for the perfect ice-cream.
